UFE8 UNIVERSAL FISH EYE ELIMINATOR
UFE8 is designed to eliminate fish eyes, or cratering, in enamel and urethane finishes without hindering the flow of the paint. Fish eyes are caused by contamination – most often in the form of silicone, water, oil and/or grease – on the substrate or within the paint system. The best defense against fish eyes is a properly prepared surface and clean work environment. Proper cleaning of the substrate, prior to sanding, first with a strong detergent and flushed with water, then with 600 Surface Wash will prevent the need for a Fish Eye Eliminator in most cases.

Should UFE8 be required, mix up to ½ fluid ounce per reduced quart of sprayable material.
