Matte Urethane Clear
EC325 is a premium-quality urethane clearcoat system that dries to an even, smooth matte finish, making it an ideal choice for custom refinish and other applications where a reduced sheen is required. This easy-to-use material flows and levels nicely, featuring superior clarity and minimal color distortion compared with other flat finish clears. In addition to its pleasing aesthetic characteristics, Kirker’s Matte Urethane Clearcoat also provides superior protection against weathering, stone chips and chemicals, as well as the sun’s harmful UV rays. EC325 also features exceptional flexibility with superior scratch, chip and mar resistance.

May be applied over ULTRA-GLO single-stage urethanes, SPECTRA Series candy colors or other manufacturer’s basecoats. EC325 may also be used over well-prepped factory finishes, as long as the existing paint is intact and in good shape.

Matte Urethane Clearcoat mixes 4:1 with 0065 (Fast), 0075 (Medium) or 0085 (Slow) clear activator, depending on shop temperature and airflow conditions at the time of application. Applies in two medium wet coats, just like a conventional gloss clear. EC325 may be intermixed with any of Kirker’s urethane clears in different ratios for different finishes ranging from matte to satin to semi-gloss.
