Kirker’s new URETHANE CANDY BASE SERIES colors feature some of the brightest, most eye-catching options available anywhere.  This vivid assortment of custom colors blends super intense color-shift pigments with extra-coarse metallic flake that bursts to life in the sun.  The UCB Series is part of Kirker’s ULTRA-GLO acrylic urethane system.  These nine stunning colors can be used alone, or as a base for any of the SPECTRA Series urethane candy colors.  Because of the extra-coarse aluminum content, the use of a topcoat -- whether clear or candy -- is strongly recommended.

Made with the same top-quality urethane resins as Kirker’s ULTRA-GLO system, Urethane Candy Base Series colors provide a high degree of UV protection to help keep vehicles looking glossy and deep in color for years.

Mix ¾ gallon of UCB Series acrylic urethane color to one quart of UA-1600 Medium or Slow activator (3:1).  In most applications, reducer is not required however, if used, Kirker recommends the mix comprise no more than 10% of the appropriate temperature urethane reducer. 

Any of Kirker’s urethane clears or SPECTRA Series urethane candy colors may be applied over, or integrated into the UCB Series color.

Other custom options:

• Blend multiple UCB Series colors for unique options
• Topcoat with different SPECTRA Series urethane candy colors
• Use in combination with similar-toned DP Series colors for subtle graphic designs.
• Tint with SPECTRA Series urethane candy colors or DP Series colors for unlimited color options
