BLACK DIAMOND

3.5 VOC Urethane Basecoat

Kirker’s most advanced color system, the BLACK DIAMOND Series Low-VOC Urethane Basecoat provides the ultimate performance and durability, and ensures compliance even in areas with the most stringent VOC limits.  This unique two-part urethane system sprays like a conventional air-dry basecoat, but provides better adhesion and filling capabilities with vastly improved film integrity.  It is far easier to use than finicky waterborne basecoats, especially when working in less-than-ideal conditions with limited control over temperature, humidity and other environmental factors. 

Performance benefits include exceptional atomization and outstanding metallic control.  This innovative basecoat also provides quick two-coat coverage and seriously fast dry times. ULTRA-GLO

2.8 VOC Single-Stage Urethane Topcoat

ULTRA-GLO single-stage urethane offers a premium-quality finish at minimal cost.  This high-gloss, ultra durable paint is designed for automotive and fleet refinishing when a top-of-the-line finish is desired. Kirker’s ULTRA-GLO is an advanced topcoat system that provides a high degree of UV protection to help keep vehicles looking glossy and deep in color for years.
 

Can be used in single-stage applications, or in combination with a urethane clearcoat for added durability.  Using ULTRA-LOCK Metallic Control Additive/Base Converter helps improve sprayability and ease-of-use, thanks to Anti-Mottle Technology that stabilizes metallics and pearls, locking them in place for an even, streak-free finish.  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

HOT ROD BLACK

2.8 VOC Urethane Topcoat

An activated two-component single-stage topcoat, Kirker’s Hot Rod Black is far more durable than flat black primers, “spray bombs” or cheap implement paints from the local hardware store.  UA-70388 (Satin Finish) and UA-70389 (Matte Finish) are both true urethane topcoats, which means they have exceptional long-term durability and the fade resistance needed for restoration work.  Provides excellent protection against UV, chemicals and everyday use.  New-and-improved formula provides even greater consistency, with superb resistance to scratching, scuffing and marring.

Hot Rod Black has the flexibility to be used in any number of applications, for accent or overall work on street rods, choppers, old school gassers, muscle cars and sport tuners.  Can also be used on interior parts, chassis and under-hood components.  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

SPECTRA SERIES

2.8 VOC Urethane Candy Color Topcoat

The SPECTRA Series combines brilliant candy colors with advanced, high-solids urethane technology in a completely interchangeable custom paint system that provides the power to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind work of art.  The series includes nine candy colors which can be used in their original crisp, clean, pure tones, or mixed in any combination to create an unlimited number of custom variations.
 

Candy colors can be applied over any of Kirker’s BLACK DIAMOND Low-VOC Urethane Basecoats or ULTRA-GLO single-stage urethane colors, although pearl and metallic bases will provide the most exciting effects.   The brightest, most vivid effect is achieved using Quicksilver Metallic Base.  For more variety, use one of the nine Urethane Candy Base (UCB Series) Colors, either in the LVB or UA color systems.  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

ACRYL-GLO

Acrylic Enamel Topcoat

Kirker’s ACRYL-GLO acrylic enamel paints provide a durable finish that is easy to apply and suitable for both commercial and passenger vehicle refinish work.  These acrylic enamels have excellent adhesion over virtually any original equipment type finish with the proper preparation, and are made to withstand the type of wear typical for commercial vehicles.

ACRYL-GLO will give any vehicle a “right off the production line” look.  Kirker’s acrylic enamels combine economic value with long-lasting durability.  Can be used with or without optional hardeners for further improved protection.   Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

SYN-GLO

Synthetic Enamel Topcoat

SYN-GLO synthetic enamels provide exceptional value.  These paints are easy to apply, offering a durable, beautiful finish.  Long-lasting color retention plus high build combine to make this a fine line of synthetic enamel paints, suitable for a variety of commercial uses.  Can be used with or without optional hardener for further improved durability.
