2.1 VOC 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer

The BLACK DIAMOND Series Low-VOC Primer is a versatile coating designed to meet even the most stringent VOC standards (2.1 lbs/gallon), meaning this system is compliant for use in all areas of all states.  It may be mixed either as a High-Build 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer where it delivers maximum film build, excellent filling and superior sandability, or as a premium Wet-on-Wet Urethane Primer Sealer, providing exceptional throughput efficiency with maximum color and gloss holdout.

This advanced low-VOC primer resists sand scratch swelling, dries quickly and features excellent flexibility.  May be applied over DTM primers, existing finishes, body filler, factory e-coat, fiberglass and some bare metals (properly prepared).  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

PERFECT PRIME

2K Urethane Primer Surfacer

PERFECT PRIME is a two-component urethane primer surfacer designed for overall jobs.  It builds quickly, fills well, sands easily and provides excellent color holdout for all topcoats.  May be applied over old paint, body filler and even bare metal (properly prepared).  PERFECT PRIME is a user-friendly primer system that dries fast and may be block sanded after just three or four hours. 

A popular choice for restoration, custom paint jobs and other refinish work.  May be tinted with any of Kirker’s ULTRA-GLO colors or BLACK DIAMOND Low-VOC Urethane Basecoats (up to 1 fl. oz. of activated color per quart of primer).  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.
 

RAPID PRIME

Quick Dry 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer

A quick-drying two-component urethane primer surfacer for spot and panel repairs, RAPID PRIME is sandable within one to three hours (block sand recommendation is 2-3 hours).  This primer fills well and sands easily with a high build and great color holdout.   RAPID PRIME may be applied over old paint, body filler and even bare metal (properly prepared).  Tint with any of Kirker’s ULTRA-GLO colors or BLACK DIAMOND Low-VOC Urethane Basecoats (up to 1 fl. oz. of activated color per quart of primer).  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

DIRECT PRIME

2.1 VOC DTM Urethane Primer Surfacer

DIRECT PRIME is a 2.1 VOC two-component urethane primer surfacer designed for overall repair and refinish work over a variety of bare metal substrates including steel, galvanized steel and aluminum, as well as factory-finishes, body filler, fiberglass and more.

Developed for excellent adhesion and sandability, this primer system also provides outstanding corrosion resistance. DIRECT PRIME dries with no waxy skin to break through, so it sands easily wet or dry. ENDURO PRIME

2.1 VOC DTM Epoxy Primer

ENDURO-PRIME is a user-friendly two-component epoxy primer sealer, free of lead, chromate and isocyanates.  This super popular primer system provides unmatched adhesion and corrosion resistance, making it an absolute must-have for restoration work.  It dries quickly and, unlike most epoxies, is easily sandable after 2-3 days.  This primer may be applied over steel, aluminum, fiberglass, body fillers and existing finishes.  No induction time is required when using ENDURO PRIME.  Available in quarts and gallons.  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.

SUPER RUST STOP

Non-Sanding Enamel Primer

These non-sanding primers provide maximum adhesion and rust inhibiting qualities when applied over steel, aluminum, fiberglass and other properly abraded surfaces.  SUPER RUST STOP is an economical choice, popular for many commercial uses.  Features good color holdout and filling qualities.  May be topcoated with lacquer, synthetic enamel, acrylic enamel or urethane.  Always refer to Technical Data Sheet for more complete information as well as mixing and application directions.
